Happy 4th of July!

So I decided while I was at the computer doing some homework I would write a post since my homework is done and some of next week's homework started up (sigh), only 4 weeks of summer left and then school starts up again August 22nd. I really haven't been up to much but getting things around the house done. Today we are going to the fairgrounds to see fireworks and I finally got the motivation up to do Arianna's hair yesterday for the 4th of July. Don't worry I have pictures lol. These next few weeks I am going to be super busy with cleaning the old apartment so I can hand in my keys, taking some classes to hopefully start up my own group daycare in my home. I also want to set up my file cabinet so it is organized and not a mess. I also need to finish up school for the summer and I only get a few weeks off before fall semester starts. I wasn't going to take the classes in the fall since I will have the baby but I need the money and if I continue, I should have my Corrections degree by next Summer. Classes start 5 days before baby is due, I am hoping that he comes earlier than that, like say oh 37 weeks lol. I only have 4.5 weeks left before I am full-term, maybe less since my stomach was measuring ahead. We will see Monday where I stand for my next appointment. I tell you though, this little boy never sleeps, when I am sleeping I wake up to him punching me. I hope he isn't a one-hour sleeper or I have a problem lol. I have his hospital bag packed and I need to get mine and Donovan's around. I put his carseat base in the car the other day so all we have to do is grab his carseat and our bags and go. Anyways I am going to post some pictures that I have posted on instagram and facebook throughout the week. Some include the new house ;-). The pictures aren't that good of quality because they are taken with my phone and well, my camera doesn't work anymore. ps; I also received my General Associates Degree in the mail this week!! I was so excited! Also expect pictures from tonight!

31 Weeks

I decided I would do an update in between moving and school homework. I have my homework done for the most part except a class that is due tomorrow but the teacher forgot to change the dates to open the discussion board so I am patiently waiting on that. I have only two chapters to read for homework in another class and then the homework assigned and I will be good until the next set opens. Today I am 31 weeks pregnant, I cannot believe I am that far!! This pregnancy is definitely going by super fast. I had a regular check-up today and baby is head down but he still continues to do flips from one side to another which doctor said is normal until about 34 weeks. My belly is measuring 32 weeks and he was measuring a week ahead at my 20 week ultrasound. I am surprised they won't move my due date! What if he comes at 36 weeks but is actually 37 weeks and I have to leave him at the hospital for a week, not happening! He likes to jab his foot in my side and leave it there until I push it away. We have everything we need right now except pants, I cannot for the the life of me find any 0-3 months jeans!! Everywhere we have went, there is nothing. He has a bunch of onesies but no pants! I am getting frustrated with that! We are officially moving into our house Thursday. Two men and a truck is moving all of our big items and we are slowly moving everything else between today and tomorrow. I am ready to be in my own house. I don't want to pay electric on both places but I have to until our lease is up which is fine as long as only one place we are using electric. Once we get everything moved in and settled (we are just going to be waiting on our new couch set and dining set), I am going to apply for my daycare license. I have everything needed to start up, I just have to start the application process. I found these little pregnancy questions on this blog and decided to use them to document the rest of mine.

I am alive

I am a alive. I have been super busy with school and keeping up with it. I have bad news, I got laid off from my job on Wednesday, June 19th so I am freaking out trying to find out how I am going to make ends meet. Luckily I have financial aid coming in and I will be getting unemployment, just waiting on hearing from them as to how much. I applied for foodstamps for the time being. It sucks but I have to do what I have to do. This is the time where I am going to be proactive and apply for my daycare license. I am almost done with the last minute touches for the house and then we are going to move into it. Once I move in, I am going to apply for my license and get all those things going. Right now I am going to do it on my own with the six kids limit and them up it to 12 and get a daycare helper. Luckily Donovan is out of work right now and he can watch Arianna and the baby so I can have the full six kids instead of four. I have faith that things will look up soon. I got everything the baby needs, I wish I could have more clothes but for now, he has enough to get him through a week or two without laundry. I feel bad and like I have failed but it isn't my fault. The property was for sale and I knew that and new owners were taking over soon. I interviewed with them and they supposedly liked me but never made an offer. Two maintenance men stayed WITHOUT knowing how much they are making. I wasn't comfortable accepting a position not knowing how much I was going to be making first, that is a big no-no for me. So right now I am taking this much needed down time to focus on school and my family and spend more time at home. So I might be able to update more often, maybe not because school is hectic right now. I have two papers to write, which I started on one and finished one, just waiting on the guidelines so I make sure I did it okay. I have four chapters to read by Thursday and do the discussion boards and everything and then probably two more in another class starting tomorrow. I am super busy but that is okay. It keeps my mind off of things. So I just wanted to stop in and touch base with everyone and let you know what is going on. 6 weeks from Tuesday I will be full-term (37 weeks). I have a doctors appointment and WIC appointment so I will be pretty busy. Anyways hope you ladies are doing okay! Ps; if anybody knows any LEGIT work from home jobs that I can take part in for some extra income or to live off of, let me know!

Summer Love

I went online browsing again today like always and on a mission to find some cute things I could wear while fat pregnant this summer. I am thinking when I am not at work, maxi dresses and flat sandels are going to be my best friend. I was pregnant with Arianna during the summer and it really didn't bother me but then I was smaller when I got pregnant with her and stayed pretty little my whole pregnancy stomach wise, even though my hips, thighs and butt grew. This baby, I am almost 26 weeks pregnant and look like I did when I was 33+ weeks with Arianna and my legs and butt and thighs are even bigger than with Arianna, ugh! I am ginormous. So here is a little collage of some cute and quite cheap things that I found at Rainbow. They definitely have some good deals and I was excited to find a shop near me, actually right around the corner. So as soon as my first check with my raise is here and I pay down some credit cards and buy last minute house things and things for Dre'Shawn. I definitely suggest checking them out!

25 weeks

Well I decided I would update while I am on a little break from school (3 weeks) and while I am on the computer and thinking about it. I was 25 weeks yesterday, only 15 (OR LESS!) to go. I am so excited to meet my baby boy! We are closing on the house in a few weeks or less also. Everything is falling into play. I got promoted to property manager and I am hoping everything goes good with that. Not many people are renting this year it seems like. Last year, this time, it was super busy and we got lots of rentals, this year, not so much traffic period. That or so many people are looking way down the road to the point that it is quite annoying because I want them in now, not August or later. Plus who is to say what prices and availability is that far down the road if you don't put in an application and people just don't seem to understand that. We are running great specials and everything, I told the regional that I am going to start stalking and kidnapping tomorrow! Seriously! Ugh. So annoying. I really don't have much to say. I just wanted to pop in. I will definitely post pictures of the house once we close and take occupancy. So excited! Also with my promotion I am going to be making $14,000+ more a year! Hopefully things go good like I said, lol. If not I will open up my own daycare and make decent money too. So I definitely have a back-up plan. Anyways I am going to go now and eat something and lay down since I am pooped, even though I haven't done anything haha. Night ladies!
